Stanley Szeto

Stanley Szeto is Executive Chairman of Lever Style Inc.

Recognized for his vision and innovation, Stanley won the EY (Ernst & Young) Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2018. Earlier in his career, he received the Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong from the Federation of Hong Kong Industries in 2009. Stanley is a frequent guest speaker on CNBC and other business news channels.

As Honorary Chairman of Hong Kong Textile Council, the trade group representing almost all major apparel and textile trade associations in Hong Kong, Stanley acts as the voice for the industry. He represented the Textile and Apparel sector as an Election Committee member to select the Chief Executive of Hong Kong in 2017.

Keenly involved in the industry, Stanley serves as Board Member of the Jay H. Baker Retailing Center, an interdisciplinary research center and innovation think tank at the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania. He is also Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Textiles, Vice-Chairman of the Hong Kong Garment Manufacturers Association, Director of the Federation of Hong Kong Garments Manufacturers, Director of the Hong Kong Shippers’ Council, past Member of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s Advisory Committee on Textile and Clothing Industries, and past Member of Hong Kong Government’s Textiles Advisory Board.

Outside of the industry, Stanley serves on the Trade and Industry Department’s Small and Medium Enterprises Committee to advise the Hong Kong Government on issues affecting small businesses. He is also past Council Member of the Hong Kong Consumer Council, past Chairman of the Hong Kong chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), past Chairman of the Hong Kong chapter of Mensa, and past President of the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Club of Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Lever Style, Stanley worked at J.P. Morgan’s investment banking department and at Prudential Asset Management Asia Ltd. ("PAMA"), a pan-Asian buyout firm. Stanley served on the boards of companies in PAMA’s portfolio, focusing on strategy and management issues.

Stanley graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, triple-majoring in Finance, Entrepreneurial Management, and Legal Studies.

CEO

Eddie Chan

Eddie Chan has been CEO of Lever Style Inc. since 2017, after serving as President & COO.

Before joining Lever Style in 2015, Eddie worked at vertically-integrated textile & garment manufacturer Esquel Group. Rising to the position of Group Director of Operational Excellence, reporting to the Vice-Chairman & CEO, he previously held senior executive positions in a variety of areas including sales, production, and technical development.

Eddie started his career by gaining experience at TAL Group, Laws Group, and Mast Industries.

Eddie obtained his Doctor of Business Administration from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and other bachelors and masters degrees in fields including accounting, financial analysis and textile technology.

Eddie is past Chairman of Hong Kong Institution of Textile and Apparel, Chartered Associate of The Textile Institute, and Member of The Hong Kong Institute of Marketing. Eddie also serves as Board Member of GS1 Hong Kong.

CFO & Acting COO

Derek Lee

Derek Lee joined Lever Style as CFO in 2015 and took on additional responsibilities as Acting COO in 2017.

From 1996 to 2014, Derek was Chief Financial Officer, Vice General Manager and Company Secretary at Pegasus Group, a Hong Kong publicly-listed shoe manufacturer serving clients such as Nike and L.L.Bean. Before Pegasus, Derek spent the first eight years of his career at the accounting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, last serving as the Audit Manager preparing Pegasus's IPO.

Derek is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and he obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Queen's University of Belfast in the UK and his Higher Diploma in Textile Technology from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he graduated with distinction.
